Manali is a popular hills station and Historical place in India which is located in Kulu District in  Himachal Pradesh. It is situated on 6700 ft. It is known for its cool climate and snow-capped mountains.

1.  How to reach Manali :

a)       By Air: The Nearest airport in Manali is Bhuntar and Kulu airport. Both airport are located at a distance of around 50kms from Manali. But Bhuntar airport would be the best option, it is well connected with regular flights to important Indian cities. From airport outside private taxies are available to reach Manali.
b)  By train :
The nearest railway station is the Jogindernagar railway station, which is located at a distance of 143 km. Thereafter Chandigarh railway station(314kms), Ambala railway station(342kms), and Kalka railway station(272kms).All the railway station is well-connected y Regular ac/non-ac buses and private taxies.
c)     By Road: The Popular Hill station is well connected to important nearest cities in India.such as Delhi, Leh,Kulu, Dharmsala, Chandigarh, Ambala, Dehradun, Shimla, Kalka. From there Private Taxies and ac/non-ac regular private and state buses are available.

2.  Places to Visit During MANALI TOUR PLAN :

a)       Solang Valley: The valley is located at a distance from Manali 13km.It is one of the attractive tourist place in Manali. Here you can do beautiful sports activities like Quad-bike rides, Zorbing, Paragliding, ropeway ride, skiing, rock climbing, ballooning, camping, and mountaineering. Also, Solang serves as a base camp for Mountains expeditions to Anjani Mahadeb, hanuman tibba, and Patalsu peak.

Rohtang Pass 

b)       Rohtang Pass:  Rohtang pass is the most attractive tourist spot in Manali. It situated on a height of 13058 ft. By road, It is a distance of about  52 km from Manali. During heavy snow closes the pass in late November and after six months it again opened y may. In the summertime, the snow starts to melt and tourist vehicle starts moving to the pass. This time tourists can do some adventure activities like Paragliding, skiing, and trekking here. En route, you can enjoy Nehru Kund, Gulaba, Jogini fall, and Kothi. A special permit required for vehicles to move the pass.

c)        Hidimba Temple:  The temple is also known as Dhungri Temple and located near to Manali mall road. Its a historical place, built by stone and wood structure and surrounding by beautiful deodar trees. The temple dates back to the 16th century. The local people believed to have foot imprints of Hidimba Devi.
d)       Vashist: It is a small village, walking distance from Manali. Here you can find a dedicated temple called sage Vashist, who finds mention in Rig Veda. And also you can see here a hot water spring bath.
e)       Naggar: Its a valley located a distance about 22 km from Manali on the left bank of Beas River.Many Monuments and temples along with a 500 years old Palace located here. Here tourists can visit Nicholas Roerich art Gallery, Vasuki Nag Temple, Tripura Sundari Temple, and Gauri Shankar temple.
f)        Bhrigu Lake: It is a small Lake situated at an altitude of 13890 a basically trekking spot. The lake is flanked y snow-clad mountains on all sides. Local people say Sage Bhrigu meditated here and the believes that god and goddesses from the valley do come here for a holy dip.
g)       Nehru  Kund: It situated on the way to Rohtang, beyond 5 km from Manali. Here tourists can find a water spring. India’s 1st Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, during his regular visit to Manali only dring water from this spring.
h)       The great Himalayan National Park: For nature lovers, it is the best to place . It situated about 2 km from Manali. Here tourists can sight some kind of birds, Musk Deer, Monal, Brown Bear, Blue Sheep, and snow leopard.
i)         Manu Temple:  The temple is devoted to Rishi Manu a sage who codified the laws in the book Manusmriti. The temple is located at old Manali, walking distance from Manali Mall road.
j)         Mall road: It a famous market place in Manali, here you can enjoy sitting, walking, take various types of food and clothes designed by locals. The evening is the best time to spend and relax here.

3.  Best time to do MANALI TOUR PLAN :

            The best time depends on the traveler, what they want to do here?

A)      Summers : (April to June ): This is the Peak season. I think it is the best time to visit Manali with your family. In summers time you can do all the adventure activities and also enjoy the snow in Gulaba, Solang, Rohtang(depend on times), while the temperatures reach between 5 to 25 degrees c.

B)       Monsoon : (July to September):  This is the time to enjoy waterfalls in Manali. But I strongly Recommended don’t go this time. This time dangerous landslide comes any time on the road, so be careful about your travel time.

C)       Winters : (October to March): This is one of the best times for snowfall lovers and trekkers.This time just you go to Manali and enjoy the snowfall and snow activities. During this time most of the height pass will be closed by road. But it is the real-time to let’s enjoy your memorable trek.
